|
Starting a Course
To start a course module, firstly select the course that interests you. The courses are listed on the homepage and can also be found by selecting 'Courses' from the navigation menu. The list of courses can also be found by moving your cursor over the 'Courses' button on the menu where you can move the cursor up and down the list and select a course topic.
Once you have selected a course, a navigation screen is presented. Clicking on the 'Next' option will start the course.

Working Through a Course
Each course contains a number of linked pages that are displayed in sequential order. To move forward through the course, simply click on the 'Next' button. To move back a page, click on the 'Back' button.
You can leave the course at any time by clicking on the 'Exit' button in the top right hand corner of the page. On leaving a course you will given the opportunity to complete a feedback form or to view entries in the BusinessCLICK Directory or FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) relating to the topic of the course you were taking. You can also resume the course from the point you left it or start the course again.

Scrolling Through Text
The pages you view in a course are of a fixed size, and as such some pages require 'scrolling' where the text would otherwise not fit the page size.
In such cases, two arrows will appear alongside the text. By moving your mouse over the 'up' or 'down' arrows the text will move up or down.

Animation
Each course contains animated illustrations or demonstrations.
These animations are presented using Macromedia Flash and require version 6 or greater of the Flash Player software to be installed on your computer. If you do not have Flash installed or are running a previous version, you will need to download the Flash Player from the Macromedia website.
Click on the logo (above right) if you would like to download the software now.
For the purposes of using a course, static images will be displayed in the place of animations if the Flash Player is not present.
